Nature of the service
scans.me is a personal tool for archiving, viewing and sharing your own imaging exams (DICOM). It is not a medical device: displayed images must not be used as the sole basis for a diagnosis or clinical decision. No artificial intelligence analyzes your images.
Terms of use
You must own the scans you import, or be legally authorized to use them. You are responsible for the people you send a sharing link to and for the validity period you choose. A public link is not protected by any code: anyone who obtains it can view the scans until it expires.
Paid plans are billed in advance, with no commitment, and can be cancelled at any time; access remains open until the end of the paid period. A 14-day free trial with Family plan limits precedes any payment.
Privacy and health data
Your images and reports are stored in a private area: only your account can access them, and each file is delivered only through a short-lived signed URL. Share access codes are stored only in encrypted form. No advertising, no analytics tracking, no data resale.
Governing law
The service is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico (United States), without prejudice to mandatory rights you may have in your country of residence.
