scans.me lets individuals store, view and share their own medical imaging exams (DICOM files and reports). The service is operated by GLW SERVICES LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA.

scans.me is not a medical device and provides no diagnosis. Images shown may be compressed or rendered differently from the original equipment; always rely on your healthcare professional for medical decisions.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a legal guardian, to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password and two-step verification codes confidential.

You only import exams that you are entitled to hold, typically your own or those of a person you legally represent.

Every new account gets a 14-day free trial with Family plan limits. No card is required for the trial.

Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars: Essential ($4.99, 1 scan, 500 MB), Family ($9.99, 5 scans, 3 GB) and Unlimited ($24.99 to $219.99 depending on storage). Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from My account; access continues until the end of the period already paid. Payments already made are not refunded except where required by law.

If your plan ends or you exceed its limits, your existing scans stay viewable but new imports are blocked until you choose a suitable plan.

You decide who receives a share link and access code. Anyone holding both can view the shared scans until the expiry date or until you revoke the link. Do not publish links and codes together.

You must not use scans.me to host other people's records without authorization, to operate a healthcare facility's patient archive, to distribute unlawful content, or to attempt to break the security of the service.

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Keep the original copies of your exams. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid over the previous 12 months.

You can export all your data and delete your account at any time from My account. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.

We may update these terms; significant changes will be announced in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country. Contact: support@scans.me.
