Privacy policy

Your account details (email address, optional name and photo), the scans and documents you import, the shares you create and basic security logs (sign-in attempts, link views).

We do not collect advertising identifiers and we do not use analytics trackers.

Your images and reports are stored in a private area: only your account can access them. Each file is delivered through a short-lived signed address.

Share access codes are stored only in encrypted form. Two-step verification is available for your account, and repeated wrong passwords temporarily lock sign-in.

A share gives access only to the scans you choose, only until the expiry date you set. You can revoke it at any time, and you can see when it was viewed.

We never sell your data, never show advertising, and no artificial intelligence analyzes your images.

Your scans are health information. scans.me is intended for individuals: we do not sign Business Associate Agreements (BAA), and the service must not be used by healthcare organizations to host patient records.

From My account you can download all your data in one click or permanently delete your account, files and shares.
